About the Role
We're looking for a Backend Engineer to design and maintain the integration layer that connects InTheWork to third-party tools, and to help scale our core API as our customer base grows.
What You'll Do
Design and build integrations with third-party services (OAuth flows, webhooks, data sync).
Maintain and scale core backend services powering chat, tasks, and the AI Co-Pilot.
Work directly with customers' real usage patterns to identify and fix bottlenecks before they become problems.
What We're Looking For
3+ years building backend services in production (Node.js, Go, or similar).
Experience working with third-party APIs and OAuth-based integrations.
Comfortable owning a service end-to-end, from design to monitoring in production.
Nice to Have
Experience with event-driven architectures or message queues.
Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS systems.
